These verses are awesome! But religion makes them of none effect in many Christians’ lives (Mark 7:13). Religion says the Lord separates us from His love for a multitude of reasons. Many Christians live in constant dread of doing something that will cause them to lose their salvation and this love of God. That is totally against what these verses are saying.
See Romans 3:4 God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged.
Condemnation is not from Jesus. Romans 8:1 and 34 make it very clear that Jesus is not the condemner. Satan takes the witness of our own consciences (Romans 2:15) and condemns us. He amplifies that witness through the Law (Romans 7:9-11 and 1 Corinthians 15:56). The only way to get clear of a guilty conscience is an application of the blood of Jesus (Hebrews 9:22) and a renewing of our minds that purges our consciences (Hebrews 9:14 and 10:22).
Jesus’ first advent was not for the purpose of condemning mankind (Matthew 18:11; Luke 9:56; John 5:45, 8:15, 12:47; and 1 John 4:14). Throughout the church age, Jesus is acting as an intercessor for His saints (Isaiah 59:16, Hebrews 7:25, and 1 John 2:1). However, at His Second Coming, He will sit as judge of all mankind (John 5:22, 27; and Acts 17:31 with Revelation 20:12). Notice Psalms 2:5 in light of these scriptures.
