Serving God in the Old Covenant resulted in God’s blessing. In the New Covenant, putting faith in Jesus as our Savior brings all spiritual blessings upon us (Ephesians 1:3).

One of these blessings is that God will bless our bread and water (food) and take all sickness away from the midst of us. We don’t have to be sick. There is a relationship between our food being blessed and our health.

The English phrase “take…away” here was translated from the Hebrew word CUWR, and this Hebrew word means “to turn off” (Strong’s Concordance). CUWR was used before and after the word “sickness”; this is stressing a complete negation of sickness. The Lord will literally “turn off” sickness in our lives. Thank You, Jesus (1 Peter 2:24).

The same Hebrew word is used in Deuteronomy 7:15, which also talks about taking away all sickness from us.

And the LORD will take away from thee all sickness, and will put none of the evil diseases of Egypt, which thou knowest, upon thee; but will lay them upon all them that hate thee.

Resist the devil and he will flee from you. (James 4-7) The son of God was manifested for this purpose, that he might destroy the works of the devil. (1 John 3-8) Everyone who has been born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory, our faith. Who is it that overcomes the world? The one that believes that Jesus is the son of God. The reason people become sick is the same reason that they become sinful. They surrender to the suggestion of the thing that is evil and it takes possession of the heart. Sickness is just the same. There's no Difference. The suggestion of oppression is presented and becoming frightened, the disease secures a foothold. Our response in the name of Jesus Christ, I refuse to have this thing.

The wonderful simplicity of the gospel of Jesus is itself a marvel. The wonder is that men haven't always understood the whole process of salvation. But how did people mystify it? Why is it that we haven't lived a better life? Because our view was clouded and we didn't see. And we didn't realize that God left us here in this world to demonstrate him. Just like the Father left Jesus in the world to demonstrate the Father, the one (You) with Christ in him by the Holy Spirit is greater than any other power in the world.

All other natural and evil powers are less than God. Even Satan himself is a lesser power. Man with God in him is greater than Satan. That's why God says the believer will cast out devils because greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world. (1 John 4-4) The Christian then is a ruler. They are in the place of dominion, the place of authority just like Jesus was. Jesus knowing that all power had been given to Him took a bowl and a towel and washed His disciples feet. His power didn't exalt him. It made him the humblest of all men.

The accumulated community of those who know Jesus, who really have the god life within, are the body of Christ in the world. And through that body of Christ, all the ministry of Jesus is in operation. The nine gifts of the Holy Spirit are the divine equipment of God by which the church, his body, is forever to continue to do the works of Jesus.

To one is given the word of wisdom, the word of knowledge, faith, to another the gifts of healing, to another the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another the discerning of spirits. Jesus exercised all these gifts in his earthly ministry. The people who exercise these gifts create another practical Christ, the church which is his body. Christ being the head.

When this truth is seen, Christianity will have a new though old foundation. The illumination of God, the recognition of our position in the world, and the consciousness of our responsibility as the representatives of Christ places upon us as Christ men and Christ women the burden of Christ for a lost world. Fundamentally, this lifts the heart and spirit into a new closeness with God and the awareness that if a son of God, if a Christ man to the world, then they must be worthy of his Christ. And the only way to be worthy is to be in the will of Jesus.

Men have mystified the gospel. They've philosophized the gospel. But the gospel of Jesus is as simple as can be. As God lived in the body and operated through the man Jesus, so the man on the throne, Jesus operates through his body, the church in the world. Even as Jesus himself was the representative of God the Father, so also the church is the representative of Christ. As Jesus yielded himself unto all righteousness, so the church should yield itself to do all the will of Christ. (Romans 12-1)

This verse makes it very clear that healing people is doing good. Therefore, leaving them sick would be doing evil, especially if we had been given the power to heal. Notice also that these sick people were oppressed of the devil, not of God. Religion teaches today that God puts sickness on people to work some positive result in their lives. That’s not what the Bible teaches. All sickness has its root in Satan and his influence. But some sickness is simply a result of living in a fallen world, while other sickness is a direct demonic influence. There are 10 times in the Gospels where Jesus cast demons out of people to heal them.

In this verse, Peter was giving a very brief, yet very descriptive, summary of the life and ministry of Jesus. Jesus was anointed with power and with the Holy Ghost. He used this power to do good, not evil. This is one of the main characteristics of God and is one of the easiest ways to discern what is from God and what is from the devil. God is a good God, and the devil is a bad devil. If it’s bad, it’s from the devil. If it’s good, it’s from God (see note 5 at John 10:10). Jesus healed all who were oppressed of the devil. Therefore, Jesus showed us the perfect will of the Father by healing all (see note 1 at Matthew 8:16). This verse says they “were oppressed of the devil” (see note 3 at Mark 1:32), not of God. God is not the one who brings sickness; it’s the devil, and he does it only to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10).

The thief mentioned here is specifically speaking of the thieves and robbers of John 10:8 who had claimed to be God’s messengers but weren’t. They were selfish (steal), cruel (kill), and destructive (destroy) in contrast to the true Shepherd who was selfless and kind and laid down His life for the sheep. This verse is still the “acid test” for discerning false messengers of God today as well as the demonic inspiration behind them. The devil steals, kills, and destroys, but God ministers the “ZOE” life (see note 6 at this verse).

The Greek word translated “life” here is ZOE, and it means “life in the absolute sense, life as God has it” (Vine’s Expository Dictionary). Everyone who is breathing has life in the sense of physical existence, but only those who receive Jesus can experience life as God intended it to be. Jesus came not only to save people from the torment of eternal hell but also to give them this ZOE life, or God-kind of life, in abundance. The life of God is not awaiting people in heaven but is the present possession of all born-again believers in their spirits (John 5:24 and 1 John 3:14). Believers can release this ZOE life and enjoy it now by losing their natural lives (Matthew 16:24-25, Mark 8:34-37, and Luke 9:23-25) and finding this supernatural life. The way believers lose their lives is to deny any thoughts, emotions, or actions that are contrary to the Word of God, which is life (ZOE in John 6:63). When they line their thoughts, emotions, and actions up with the instructions of God’s Word, then they’ll find this ZOE life manifest in their bodies and souls as well (see note 53 at Matthew 7:14).

Jesus gave us the ministry of reconciliation, Jesus reconciled mankind, He gave us the ability to exist the way we were supposed to in the beginning Having relationship with God the Father himself every single day. Giving us Eternal Life, Blessings, Favor, Love, Peace, Joy, Prosperity Physically healed, No sickness or disease, live in divine health providing all of our needs according to His riches and glory.

It’s there for the taking, all we have to do is take it, Take it away from the devil.

Remember the devil is defeated, Jesus took care of that in the resurrection. All we have to do is stand in our authority. The violent take the Kingdom by force (Matt 11 12) Greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world  (1 John 4 41) The Kingdom of Heaven has come near to you today.

All authority has been given to me in Heaven and on Earth, Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you, and Lo I am with you always, even to the end of the age. Amen (Matt 28 18-20)

Jesus said Go Preach the Gospel, Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, Raise the dead and cast out demons (Matt 10 8)

The Holy Spirit is with you always to confirm the word

God is greater than any problem, sickness or disease. God is the Ultimate source of power and authority. He is greater than all these Things and because Jesus was crucified and resurrected we get to get Into the Kingdom of God, and because we’re in the Kingdom, we’re Authorized to preach the Kingdom.

Once you preach and proclaim and demonstrate it, declare it. It’s not Enough to preach with just words, the Kingdom of God is not word only But in power and demonstration of the Spirit of God.

He sent us to proclaim with such formality, gravity and authority as must be heeded the rule, the reign, the supremacy of God and to heal the sick.

Romans 10 9 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

Real salvation is not merely forgiveness of sins or the mere cleansing of the heart from sin's power or the nominal baptism of life in the Holy Spirit. Christ's salvation is intended to bring again into the nature of man that was lost. That which was lost through sin that once again through the Divine operation of the Spirit of God ministered to our hearts by Jesus Christ, His overcoming Son, the Divine Spirit and Holy Dominion that rules in the soul of Jesus should rule in the nature of man thus Once More by the grace of God. Man takes his place before God in the state and status in which God created him in the beginning.

The Kingdom of God is for every born again believer
