This means there are not many paths to God. Jesus is the only way, truth, and life. There is no other way. There is no other truth but the truths Jesus gave us. There is no other life except through Jesus, the Creator of life (John 1:4). Christianity is not just another religion, it's relationship with the Father. It is God’s only method of salvation (Acts 4:12).
A born-again, committed relationship with God is the key to a victorious life. Jesus, the Son of God, laid down His life and rose again so that we could spend eternity with Him in Heaven and experience His absolute best here on earth. The Bible says, “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life” ( John 3:16).
It is the will of God that everyone receives eternal salvation. The way to receive this salvation is to call upon the name of Jesus and confess Him as your Lord. The Bible also tells us, “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved…For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved” (Romans 10:9,13). Jesus has given salvation, healing, and countless benefits to all who call upon His name. These benefits can be yours if you receive Him into your heart by praying this prayer:
Salvation Prayer:
Heavenly Father, I come to You admitting that I am a sinner. Right now, I choose to turn away from sin, and I ask You to cleanse me of all unrighteousness. I believe that Your Son, Jesus, died on the cross to take away my sins. I also believe that He rose again from the dead so that I may be justified and made righteous through faith in Him. I call upon the name of Jesus Christ to be the Savior and Lord of my life. Jesus, I choose to follow You, and I ask that You fill me with the power of the Holy Spirit. Right now, I declare that I am a born-again child of God. I am free from sin and full of the righteousness of God. I am saved in Jesus’ name. Amen.
Baptism of the Holy Spirit prayer:
Father, I thank You that I am the temple of the Holy Spirit. I now open up the doors of this temple. Holy Spirit, I welcome You to come and fill me and give me supernatural power. I welcome You to renew my mind, so that I can think supernaturally instead of naturally, and see Your power released into my life. And I ask for this gift of speaking in tongues. I pray this in Jesus' name. Amen.
If you prayed that prayer and believed in your heart, you are now baptized in the Holy Spirit and you have the ability to speak in tongues! Open up your mouth and begin to utter the words that the Holy Spirit is inspiring you to speak. Don't let the fear of sounding silly stop you. Your mind isn't going to understand the words that come from you lips, but that's okay. Speak out the words that you can feel rising up within you and don't try to interpret them with your natural mind. As you pray, focus your mind on the love God has for you and who the Word of God says you are.
Below are some teachings about the New You and the Holy Spirit.
This inheritance is one of the blessings Paul mentioned earlier in Ephesians 1:3. This inheritance is ours now. It includes everything that belongs to Christ, because we are joint-heirs with Him (Romans 8:17). Although we won’t see the fullness of this inheritance until Christ personally takes the reins of government (Revelation 11:15), we can pray for things to be done here on earth as they are in heaven (Matthew 6:10). As much as we can release our faith, we can enjoy our inheritance now.
God said that He would be merciful to our unrighteousness and would not remember our sins and iniquities anymore. This is the huge difference between the Old Covenant and the New. Hallelujah!
The reason many Christians haven’t accepted this is because the Old Covenant wasn’t merciful to people’s unrighteousness and their sins and iniquities were held against them. These Christians haven’t come out of the Old Covenant and entered into the New Covenant.
If the Lord doesn’t remember our sins, then He certainly can’t bring them up to us. He has removed them as far as the east is from the west (Psalm 103:12). If God doesn’t remember them, neither should we (Hebrews 10:2).
